Medium Duty Multi-Axis Positioner for Antenna and Wireless Testing
ETS‑Lindgren’s Model 2117 Medium Duty Multi-Axis Positioner is designed to provide smooth rotation of a test object in both theta and phi axes. Typically the Model 2117 is used in systems that measure spherical antenna patterns and total effective radiated power of wireless devices, with MAPS units currently in operation at several CATL labs.
Constructed of low reflective dielectric material to minimise RF interference or distortion, the 2117 is engineered to minimise EMI noise and provide the least physically disruptive RF field. The motor unit is contained in an RF shielded enclosure designed to be placed below the absorber, and the signal line to the positioning controller is fibre optic.
