About Micropac
Micropac Industries designs and manufactures a variety of Solid-State Relays and Solid-State Power Controllers (SSR/SSPC) for use in commercial, industrial, military and space applications. Some devices contain radiation-hardened components and/or other features that provide a level of radiation tolerance suitable for harsh space applications.
Micropac’s Optoelectronics Division offers the broadest line of standard high-reliability optocouplers, and optoelectronic components available today. We provide a full line of optocouplers and other optoelectronic components processed to JAN through JANS level.
Micropac provides ruggedized Hall Effect proximity sensors and Optoelectronic positioning and proximity sensors for the aerospace market. Screening can be provided. Standard, high-temperature, and custom hermetic Hall Effect Sensors are available. Working with industry partners to provide application-specific custom sensors, these sensors are suitable for harsh environments and high-reliability applications.
The company was founded in 1963 by William W. Horsman first known as Farsi Industries to provide contract engineering services, manufactured electronic exercisers, and printed circuit boards. In 1974, Nicholas Nadolsky and Heinz-Werner Hempel obtained the company. Micropac Industries Inc. was born. Today, the company, headed by CEO Mark King, continues to evolve as the market changes. OptocouplersMicropac optocouplers are designed for military, space and satellite harsh environments. These optocouplers are hermetically sealed and built to the appropriate MIL-PRF-19500/486 or MIL-PRF-19500/548 standards.

LEDsMicropac LEDs are designed with specialised parameters to withstand harsh environments. We offer product assurance screening and quality conformance inspection guided by MIL-PRF 19500 standards.

Solid State Relays (SSR)Micropac's Solid State Relays utilise MOSFETs, which are smaller, lower maintenance, last longer and switch at higher speeds.

3U Space VPX Power CardsMicropac offers COTS power cards designed for 3U Open VPX systems. They meet the Open VPX – VITA 62 standard and enable high efficiency and power density. Up to four power cards can be paralleled to adjust power capability of the output.
