Development Kit for Programmable 16-Channel Low-Side Driver
The kit consists of a 2-board assembly, comprising a lower MCU board with ARM Cortex M3 16-/32-bit microprocessor and debug interface, and an upper HI-84216 daughtercard to demonstrate the key features of the device. Eclipse C project reference code is already loaded on the Cortex M3 to enable out-of-the-box operation without installing or running any software development tools.
The project source code is included and easily customized to provide a starting point for customer application software development, shortening design cycles, reducing risk and decreasing time to market.

- User Guide.
- Holt HI-84216 Eclipse Software Project and Documentation on USB flash drive.
- Installation guide “Holt Eclipse and Demo project installation guide” for important instructions and download links for Eclipse and ARM gcc compiler and tools.
- Plug-in 5V DC power supply.
- USB debug interface cable.
- RS-232 serial cable, DB-9M to DB-9F for console I/O using a connected computer.
- 2-board assembly comprised of:
- Upper TARGET board with HI-84216 device with DIP switches, LED’s and connectors to configure and customize board operation.
- Lower MCU board with ARM Cortex M3 16-/32-bit microprocessor, debug interface and regulated 3.3VDC power supply.
