EMC Emissions Testing
This is the generation of electromagnetic energy, deliberately or accidentally by a source and its release into the environment.
EMC Susceptibility/Immunity Testing
EMC susceptibility is the tendency of electrical equipment to malfunction or break down in the presence of unwanted emissions – commonly known as Radio Frequency Interference (RFI). Immunity is the opposite of this, being the ability of equipment to function correctly in the presence of RFI.
EMC Coupling
This is the mechanism by which interference reaches the equipment/product.
