EUCLIDE

The environmental monitoring system EUCLIDE consists in a network of ELSE NUCLEAR detectors connected to a wall-mounted Local Control Unit, featuring a panel PC with a complete and autonomous management software.

All the available models of ELSE NUCLEAR detectors can be connected to the EUCLIDE LCU and managed by the system.

EUCLIDE is designed to be a simple and extremely versatile solution for all the applications requiring a system to monitor the radiation levels in medium-size areas, possibly using different detectors (e.g. for gamma or neutron radiation), managing the data in real-time from a single local interface.

Thanks to the versatility and modularity of the system design and its components, it is possible to adapt the EUCLIDE architecture to many different specific requirements.

The EUCLIDE system is composed of:

• EUCLIDE LCU, a wall-mounted box with panel PC, power supply module, I/O modules and connectors
• Alarm column with LEDs and siren for status indication
• Detectors connected to the LCU through dedicated probe cables, to be selected from the whole ELSE NUCLEAR catalogue
