The Future of Reverb Testing and Why Everybody Should Be Interested
Ryan Fergus | ETS-Lindgren
The presentation explored the use of reverberation chambers, which are traditionally associated with Automotive and Defence/Aerospace testing—environments where very high field strengths are needed and conventional semi-anechoic chambers may not be practical.
However, it was highlighted that reverberation chambers are also widely used across a broader range of test applications. These include not only EMC testing but also antenna characterisation, over-the-air testing for wireless systems, and material characterisation, among others.
Attendees gained valuable insights into the various uses and benefits of reverberation chambers, and how this versatile test environment could be relevant to their own testing requirements.
