The HI-8477 / HI-8478 are ARINC 429 Receivers designed specifically for use without a microprocessor. All configuration and control is programmed via logic level input pins, eliminating the need for a microprocessor or software interface and greatly reducing or eliminating the cost associated with software certification.

  • Internal lightning protection circuitry for receiver inputs allows compliance with RTCA/DO-160G, Section 22 Level 3 Pin Injection Tests using only two external resistors
  • HI-8478 option provides the compliment of HI-8477 digital outputs from the 32-bit ARINC 429 word.
  • Certifiable to RTCA DO-254, “Design Assurance for Airborne Electronic Hardware”
