Description of change
Holt Integrated Circuits is announcing that all HI-3599, HI-3598, HI-3597 and HI-3596 products will be migrated to the HI-35990, HI-35980, HI-35970 and HI-35960 families, which are Form, Fit, Function, Quality and Reliability drop-in replacements, effective immediately. Last-time buys for the products listed in Table 1 will be accepted until 1 September 2025. All products must be delivered no later than 1 December 2026.

Overview
The purpose of this notice is to announce the technology migration of the HI-3599, HI-3598, HI-3597 and HI-3596 family of products, built on 0.8 µm CMOS at Teledyne Dalsa Semiconductor, to the HI-35990, HI-35980, HI-35970 and HI-35960 family of products, built on 0.35 µm CMOS at X-Fab.
Reason
The technology migration was necessary due to Holt’s supplier, Teledyne Dalsa Semiconductor, deciding to discontinue the 0.8 µm CMOS process used to manufacture the family of products listed in Table 1.

Parts Affected
Table 1 provides a summary of the products impacted by this Product Change Notification (PCN). All part numbers listed are subject to this change. For new designs use the HI-35960, HI-35970 and HI-35980.
Traceability
Drop-in replacements from Datasheet DS35980 Rev B Ordering Information Table (see Attachment 1) are available for evaluation and qualification. These are built using the HI-35980A die from X-FAB on their 0.35 µm CMOS process technology.
