The LOCOSYS LS2003H-2RE is a complete standalone GPS smart antenna module, powered by a MediaTek MT3337E GPS chip. This module can provide superior sensitivity and performance in
urban areas and dense foliage environments.
This module supports self-generated orbit prediction, EASYTM, to achieve a faster cold start and warm start. The EASYTM requires no network assistance or host CPU intervention. The prediction is valid for up to 3 days and updates automatically from time to time when the GPS module is powered on and satellites are available.
The module includes an embedded chip antenna and GPS receiver circuit. Ideal for tablet PCs, MID, PND and smartphones that are looking to integrate GPS functionalities. It also provides an option for connecting to an external active GPS antenna depending on an application's requirement.
