Microwave Engineering Corporation is a custom engineering and manufacturing firm dedicated to providing industry-leading advanced passive components and transmission lines for microwave systems. M.E.C. is vertically integrated and mostly self-sufficient, where virtually all key processes are performed in-house, allowing for maximum control over the design and fabrication of your end product. M.E.C. has a proven track record, a broad product and service portfolio, and highly experienced personnel, all of which are applied in support of our customers. In addition, M.E.C. provides a suite of R&D, system design, theoretical studies, field installation and technical consulting services.  With decades of experience, M.E.C. is familiar with virtually all transmission line systems in operation today.

History

Founded in 1968 in North Andover, Massachusetts, Microwave Engineering Corporation was one of the original developers of broadband, high-power devices, which went on to achieve worldwide prominence in modern electronic warfare and electronic countermeasure systems. M.E.C. has since acquired two competitors, Datron’s Tech Systems and SierraCom, significantly expanding the range of products now available to their customers. They continue to manufacture, support and enhance all of Datron’s Tech Systems products, along with several of SierraCom’s complementary high-power components and antenna products.
