About Seiko Instruments
Lithium Rechargeable Batteries
Manganese Silicon lithium rechargeable batteries, developed by Seiko Instruments, use silicon oxide as the anode and a lithium-manganese composite oxide as the cathode. As a result, they offer long cycle life and highly stable over-discharge characteristics.
Suitable for:
- Backup power supply for memory or clock function in various types of electronic equipment
- Hybrid power supply in combination with solar cells
- Main power supply for small and slim portable devices
Electric Double Layer Capacitors
Seiko Instruments’ chip capacitors are among the thinnest and smallest chip-type electric double-layer capacitors. The unique ceramic packaging with superior airtightness offers leakage resistance and humidity resistance in addition to a heat-resistant design for Pb-free reflowable SMT board attachment.
- Small and thin size
- RoHS directive compliant
- Pb free reflowable: 260deg.C peak
- Rapid Charge
- Long Cycle Life
Mercury-Free Silver Oxide Batteries
Since 1975, Seiko Instruments have manufactured high-quality silver oxide batteries for watches small to large, quartz to digital. Since silver oxide batteries are small batteries with large electrical capacity and stable voltage characteristics, they are mainly used in wristwatches and clocks, but are also suitable for other small electronic devices:
- Health appliances
- Digital clinical thermometers
- Measurement equipment
- Remote controllers
- Card radios
- Cameras
- Calculators
- Electronic games
