Light Duty Multi-Axis Positioning System for Wireless Device Testing

ETS‑Lindgren’s Model 2112 Light Duty Multi-Axis Positioning System (MAPS) is designed to perform measurements of spherical antenna patterns plus total and effective isotropic radiated power of wireless hand-held devices.

The MAPS mast supports the EUT and provides continuous 360° rotation on the horizontal axis while keeping the EUT on the centre of both rotation axes. The system features non-metallic construction to minimise RF obstruction, with the motor unit contained in an RF shielded enclosure placed below the absorber and fibre optic signal lines to eliminate RF noise coupling.
