The Model 3164-06 Open Boundary Quad-Ridged Horn Antenna's open boundary design is similar to two double-ridged waveguide antennas placed orthogonally to each other.
The antenna's surprisingly compact size offers improved pattern and gain when compared with enclosed quad-ridged horns of similar dimensions. The 3164-06 has exceptional bandwidth with optimum performance from 300 MHz to 6 GHz.
