BAL-0212
BAL-0212
Marki Microwave
An RF/microwave balun (or transformer) is a device that takes an input signal at a given impedance and outputs both the same signal and an inverted version of the signal at a (potentially) different output impedance.
They are suitable for applications in differential signaling, integrated circuit testing, and general lab and experimental use. The main figures of merit for a balun are the amplitude (ideally 0 dB across the band) and phase balance (ideally 0 degrees, meaning perfectly 180 degrees out of phase, across the band).
The BAL-0212 is a capacitively coupled balun. They feature excellent amplitude balance, phase balance, and common mode rejection across a multi-octave bandwidth. They can handle more power without performance degradation than magnetically coupled baluns, and with low loss.
