An Innovative Solution for 10 MHz Sine-Wave Generation with Minimal Phase Noise Meinberg's IMS-LNO183 is a plug-in module for Meinberg's trusted line of IMS modular time server solutions.
This 10 MHz sine-wave generator card provides extremely stable sine-wave signals with minimal phase noise across its four outputs. Such stability is essential in high-spec applications such as wide-range telecommunications networks, aerospace, and metrology, where an accurate 10 MHz sine-wave reference is essential for avoiding disruptive harmonic interference over long-distance distribution.
The module features a high-grade on-board oscillator that is independently locked to the 10 MHz pulse-wave reference signal of the IMS reference system, which is essential for maintaining the phase stability of the output signal.
The IMS-LNO183 has integrated output signal monitoring that allows the host IMS LANTIME system to monitor the status of the module, its outputs, and the phase-locked loop disciplining the on-board oscillator, ensuring reliable and useful management.
