Dead Reckoning module for automotive applications

The LOCOSYS ST-1612i-DGX Dead Reckoning (DR) module is the perfect solution for automotive applications. The ST-1612i-DGX is an embedded 3D accelerometer, 3D gyroscope Micro-Electro-Mechanical Systems (MEMS) sensor, equipped with DR software, and powered by STMicroelectronics Teseo III.

With adverse GNSS conditions in urban environments, tunnels, or parking garages, Dead Reckoning boosts the accuracy with software filling the gaps. It supports three dimensional DR, Standard NMEA output including height, slope, message output, and also fully supports various mapping demands.

This module can simultaneously acquire and track multiple satellite constellations that include GPS, BeiDou, GALILEO and QZSS. It features high sensitivity, low power and ultra small form factor, and provides users with superior performance.

ST-1612i-DGX modules use GNSS chips qualified according to AEC‑Q100 and are manufactured in ISO/TS 16949 certified sites.ST-1612i-DGX modules further eases installation with automatic configuration of wheel tick input or speed, and compensation for in-vehicle antennas.
