The MILTECH 9012 offers flexible alternatives for LAN, LAN/WAN, and customisable networking. MILTECH 9012 is MIL-STD, fully managed, and military-grade, with 12 triple-speed (10/100/1000Mbps) ports.
The MILTECH 9012 is a unique combination of both a Layer 2 Ethernet switch and a Layer 3 Ethernet router. This highly integrated, compact form factor switch/router saves valuable real estate on mobile military platforms including:
- Battle management systems (BMSs)
- UAVs
- Manned and autonomous land vehicles (UGVs)
- Robots
- Mobile equipment fielded in harsh environments
It is an ideal solution for connecting IP-based voice, video, sensor data acquisition, and other communication devices that require both on-vehicle LAN management and off-vehicle WAN connectivity.
The MILTECH 9012 switching and routing capabilities include virtual LANS (VLANS), traffic prioritisation/QoS, IPv4/IPv6 dynamic routing, and bandwidth aggregation. It supports all the latest networking protocols for redundancy, security, multicast, and management. Remote management allows for centralised traffic optimisation and prioritization of mission-critical data.
The MILTECH 9012 uses industry-standard 24VDC power and is designed for MIL-STD-810F, MIL-STD-461E, MIL-STD-1275B & MIL-STD-704A airborne, ground mobile environmental, EMI/RFI compliance with high reliability.
