HARTING UK extend distribution agreement with APC Technology Group
In addition to HARTING’s industrial connectors, which include the Han-Modular® series, APC will now be able to supply customers with HARTING’s board level electronics products – including Ethernet and miniaturisation technologies.
APC Technology Group have been a distributor for HARTING since 2019, when they acquired Co-Tron Components, a specialist in cable and connector technologies. In turn, Co-Tron has a long heritage of working with HARTING, with over 35 years of knowledge in many industrial areas including automotive, rail, robotics and automation and most recently, industrial Ethernet applications.
Flexible and modular designs
HARTING’s board level components include traditional solutions such as RJ45, DIN41612 and D-Sub connectors, alongside newer innovations such as the T1 Industrial Single Pair Ethernet, and ix Industrial Ethernet connectors. Many of HARTING’s latest innovations open up many opportunities for electronics engineers, particularly those with a requirement for space saving or modularity and flexibility within their project designs.
Award winning Har-Modular® Range
One such series of products aiming to help product designers overcome the obstacle of using a limited selection of standard components when prototyping new devices, is HARTING’s award winning har-modular® range. Speeding up development time by offering flexibility, the har-modular® range consists of plug-in connectors that can be configured to individual customer requirements.
Regardless of how innovative and creative the arrangement within a device design is, it is no longer dependent on whether a suitable standard strip or variant is available. The developer can adapt the connector to their requirements - not vice versa. And with quantities available from single connectors to many, product developers now have new perspectives for fast and cost-effective prototype development.

The requirement for smaller, more powerful and more robust connectors is also echoed in HARTING’s har-flex® PCB connector range. The miniaturised design and high variability of har-flex® PCB connectors provide device manufacturers with a freely scalable connection technology that enables them to meet the demands of miniaturisation. Signal, Data and Power are all catered for with a wide range of connection solutions for printed circuit boards, featuring diverse designs and pole counts.
