The LOCOSYS LS2008E is a complete standalone GPS smart antenna module, including an embedded patch antenna and GPS receiver circuits. The module can simultaneously acquire and track multiple satellite constellations that include GPS, QZSS, and Galileo.
This module features low power consumption and a small form factor. It can provide superior sensitivity and performance in urban areas and dense foliage environments. It is easy to install without both RF connector and coaxial cable which are a requirement of a separate GPS active antenna. This can help reduce the cost and size of devices, whilst speeding up the time to market by eliminating R&D efforts on RF matching and stability between separated GPS antenna and module.
The LS2008-E's far-reaching capabilities meet the sensitivity requirements of car navigation and other location-based applications.
