RF Personal Monitor E/H Field 8 GHz

Wavecontrol WaveMon RF-8 is a radio frequency exposure meter which detects both E and H-fields. The WaveMon radio frequency exposure meter features innovative technology to monitor next-generation telecommunication systems, including 5G networks, specifically designed for people working close to TV, radio, cellular or any other telecommunication antenna or systems, such as tower climbers (telecommunications, cellular and broadcasting antennas), test and laboratory engineers and R&D personnel.

The Wavecontrol WaveMon RF complies with the Recommendation ITU-T K.145, issued by the International Telecommunication Union, which recommends that RF personal monitors (exposure meters) be equipped with a list of basic features for RF workers worldwide.

This radio frequency exposure device is fully packed with features including isotropic RMS sensors, shaped response, GPS and Altimeter, instant and average level alarms, datalogger and high immunity to power frequencies (50 / 60 Hz) to avoid false alarms.

Maximum RF Safety with a dynamic range of 1000%

The WaveMon RF-8 offers simultaneous alarms for instant and average values with a dynamic range of 1000%. Regular personal RF monitors emit an alarm when electromagnetic fields over permitted levels are detected - this is known as instant values. The WaveMon personal safety monitor range by Wavecontrol is the only personal RF monitor with a dynamic range of up to 1000%. When the WaveMon RF-8 detects EMF, its sensors accurately measure, without saturating, spikes of up to 1000% over established limits. This allows the device to accurately calculate average values while reading large increases of levels in instant values.

Battery Management

Small and lightweight, the Wavecontrol WaveMon RF-8 can operate from standard rechargeable AA batteries and/or charged through the device's USB port.

Easy to wear

Wavecontrol has created the WaveMon RF-8 with convenience in mind. This RF personal monitor can be attached and fastened to the user's harness, belt or arm via a clip-on holder, making it easier to measure sources of radiation at a distance. 

Fully compliant with ITU-T K.145

The Recommendation ITU-T K.145, issued by the International Telecommunication Union, recommends that RF personal monitors (exposure meters) be equipped with a list of basic features in RF safety for RF workers worldwide. The WaveMon RF-8 is fully compliant with this Recommendation. In addition, Wavecontrol is a member of the National Association of Tower Erectors (NATE) in the US, an organisation promoting the highest standards of safety for Tower Climbers and RF Workers.
