EMPower™ Wideband RF Measurement for ETSI Compliance
The EMPower 7002-006 and 7002-008 RF power meters are engineered to meet the strict measurement requirements of ETSI EN 300 328, EN 301 893, and EN 303 687 for wideband data transmission devices, including IEEE 802.11, Bluetooth, and Zigbee, across a frequency range of 10 MHz to 6 GHz/8 GHz. Its enhanced EMPower Pulse heads support sampling speeds up to 5 MS/s for accurate characterization of wideband signals, while hardware trigger I/O enables synchronized measurements for MIMO configurations.
The built-in USB interface allows direct PC connectivity, and the meter’s ETSI-compliant burst mode can capture up to 100,000 bursts with observation windows up to 60 seconds. Using 1 or 5 MS/s sampling combined with an RMS detector, the 7002-006 and 7002-008 both ensure precise measurements on wideband-modulated transceivers, and multiple units can be daisy-chained via MMCX connectors for fully synchronized multi-channel testing.
