The MILTECH 908 is a MIL-STD, fully managed network switch with 8 individual triple speed (10/100/1000) ports using MIL-D-38999 connectors.
The MILTECH 908 serves as a robust COTS solution for providing local area network (LAN) connectivity to IP-enabled computing and net-centric devices in ground vehicle and airborne applications.
Its advanced network features include on-device IPv4 and IPv6 unicast routing between virtual LANS (VLANS), traffic prioritisation (QoS), and bandwidth aggregation. Layer 3 on-device IPv4 and IPv6 static routing allows pre-configured routing between VLANs.
Developed specifically for military and harsh avionic applications, the MILTECH 908 features MIL-STD-810F, MIL-STD-461E, MIL-STD-1275B airborne, ground mobile environmental, and EMI/RFI compliance for high reliability. The unit has been specially hardened to improve ingress, impact, and shock/vibration protection, and all moving parts have been eliminated through passive cooling.
