The HI-1710A Microwave Oven Survey Meter combines established diode-based sensing with modern digital signal processing to deliver precise measurements of microwave oven radiation for compliance, research, and manufacturing environments. Its RS-232 interface enables seamless integration into automated or semi-automated test systems, while digital peak-hold and push-button zeroing streamline testing and reduce user error.
Selectable digital filters offer Fast and Slow response modes, replicating the behavior of traditional analog survey meters for familiar operation. Automatic self-test routines verify performance at power-up and during zeroing, and additional diagnostic functions accessible from the front panel provide immediate confirmation of instrument status.
