Durabook rugged and Mil-STD laptops now available from APC
Durabook's rugged mobile computing solutions are available with comprehensive UK technical support and servicing from APC.
APC Technology Group is delighted to announce a new distribution agreement with Durabook for their range of rugged and Mil-STD laptops.
First introduced in 2002, Durabook's military-grade rugged laptops and tablet computers are designed to perform in extreme conditions, assuring shock, drop and vibration protection, as well as the ability to withstand use in a wide range of temperatures.
Durabook's products are built around the latest Intel generation processors to deliver great performance and visuals in a compact form. Backed by high-speed data transmission capabilities, their systems deliver smooth, congestion-free processing at all times.
Built for all environments
With invincible mechanical design and rigorous component selection, Durabook products adapt to any environment flawlessly. Durabook products are MIL-STD-810H, MIL-STD-461G certified, ANSI 12.12.01 C1D2 certified, and IP rated. And with proprietary DynaVue technology, the laptop range offers the highest contrast ratio, which helps to eliminate internal reflections to enhance viewing clarity even from different angles, and in bright sunshine or low light conditions.
Compact, modular design
Durabook's compact design and rich range of built-in connectivity options help maximise the efficiency for those who work in extreme conditions. Redefining what a rugged mobile device should be, Durabook's rugged laptops are the world’s thinnest and lightest in its class. A modular design approach allows for the easy customisation and upgradeability of laptops too.
For more extensively customised products, APC’s team of defence-grade computing specialists can assist customers with creating bespoke solutions. From boards, displays to chassis, Durabook and APC can build to your requirements quickly and economically, backed by comprehensive product servicing and support from APC's UK based team.
The distribution partnership complements APC’s existing lineup of ruggedised and Mil-STD computing solutions, which include displays, PCs, tablets, networking solutions and embedded boards. In addition to front-end systems, APC also supplies Mil-STD components with design-in support - ranging from power conversion solutions, semiconductors and optoelectronics to RF and Microwave components and precision test equipment.
