Building on decades of experience with element-based wattmeters, Bird’s new 4480A Wattmeter is a groundbreaking step forward in RF power measurement. Featuring an element-free design, this wattmeter significantly reduces maintenance and operating costs while offering unprecedented ±4% accuracy for both Continuous Wave (CW) and digitally modulated signals.
The 4480A true average wattmeter covers a wide frequency range from 2 MHz to 1000 MHz and can measure power levels up to 10,000 watts in the HF band and up to 1,000 watts in UHF and VHF ranges. This versatility makes it the ideal solution for critical applications in sectors such as defence, public safety, aviation, land mobile radio, marine, and many other industries where wireless communications play a critical role.
