DURABOOK has announced the launch of the Z14I-HG, the world’s first AI-ready fully rugged mobile workstation, engineered to deliver exceptional computing power at the edge. Powered by the latest Intel® Core™ Ultra processors with integrated AI Boost NPU and NVIDIA® RTX™ Ada Generation GPUs, the Z14I-HG achieves up to 682 TOPS of AI performance. This enables organisations to run advanced workloads, including real-time 3D rendering, AI inference, computer vision, digital twin simulation, and complex data analytics, directly in the field, without reliance on cloud infrastructure.

The Z14I-HG integrates NVIDIA® Ada Lovelace architecture with 4th-generation Tensor Cores alongside Intel Core Ultra processors and Intel AI Boost NPU, delivering up to 682 TOPS of AI performance. This powerful combination enables real-time AI analytics, computer vision, and advanced 3D visualisation directly on-device, reducing latency and improving operational efficiency in mission-critical scenarios.

Equipped with NVIDIA® RTX™ 3500 Ada or optional RTX™ 5000 Ada GPUs, the Z14I-HG provides up to 9,728 CUDA cores and 16GB GDDR6 memory with ECC support. Unlike many rugged systems where GPUs are limited to compute acceleration, the Z14I-HG enables full GPU driven display output. With support for up to five HDMI 2.1 outputs, VGA, and dual Thunderbolt™ 4 ports, users can power complex multi-display environments, including 4K at 120Hz or 8K at 60Hz, making it ideal for advanced visualisation and control applications.
Rugged, mission-ready reliability
Designed to operate in the harshest conditions, the Z14I-HG meets MIL-STD-810H and MIL-STD-461G standards, ensuring resilience in high-interference and extreme environments. With IP66-rated protection against dust and water ingress and operational capability from -29°C to 63°C, the device is built for reliability in the field. A 14-inch FHD DynaVue® display with 1200-nit brightness ensures clear visibility in direct sunlight, while 10-point capacitive multi-touch and multiple input modes support seamless operation in all conditions.
Flexible storage and enhanced security
A dual removable, quick-release NVMe PCIe SSD design enables rapid data access and easy drive swapping to maintain operational continuity. The modular media bay allows further customisation with options including an optical drive, additional battery, or third storage device. Comprehensive security features include TPM 2.0, Intel® vPro™, Windows 11 Secured-core PC, a 5.0 MP IR camera for Windows Hello, and an optional fingerprint scanner, ensuring robust protection for sensitive data.
