Low-Frequency Personal Monitor for Human Exposure to EMF DC to 400 kHz

The Wavecontrol WaveMon LF-400 is a unique solution in the market designed to protect workers from electromagnetic fields for low-frequency applications.

The WaveMon LF-400 is a personal protection device with state-of-the-art technology for detecting EMFs, able to measure the E and H fields, with isotropic RMS sensors and weighted response to give you a direct reading as a percentage of the applicable limit (ICNIRP, European Directive 2013/35/EU, FCC and SC6).

The WaveMon LF-400 encompasses visual, audio and vibration alarms, powered by standard AA batteries that can be recharged effortlessly via a USB port. This EMF personal monitor also has a datalogger, allowing you to review values, keep data records and create reports.
The Wavecontrol WaveMon LF-400 can be used with a special holder to attach it to your harness, belt, or arm, still allowing you to remove it to measure levels further away from you and return it easily to its place to continue your personal monitoring.

Continuous data recording

The WaveMon LF-400 is a low-frequency exposure meter that has a datalogger for continuous data recording. Communication with the WaveMon is through a USB port that allows you to configure the device and download the recorded data. This makes it easy to create reports and allows you to keep a record of your exposure data for your safety.

Convenience and security

Created with convenience in mind, the WaveMon personal monitor has been designed to allow you to attach the device to your harness, arm or belt, enabling you to handle the device closer to radiation sources and place it back in place easily. The WaveMon LF-400 can also be secured with a small carabiner so that it won’t be dropped.

Rechargeable

Compact and lightweight, the WaveMon works with AA batteries that can be recharged via the USB port. The WaveMon LF-400 also operates on standard AA batteries, giving you the opportunity to reuse and replace them after use.

GPS and Altimeter

The LF-400 is the only personal monitor equipped with a GPS and Altimeter for the geolocation of measurements. As an example, in a high-voltage tower, the GPS will provide the geographical position of the tower and the Altimeter the relative height from the ground.

User-configurable alarms

Over-exposure alarms can be configured from a PC using a USB connection. Two different alarms can be programmed and personalised separately for each of the standards: General Public and Occupational. The alarm level (% of the selected limit) and the type of alarm (sound, vibration or both) can be manually set up.
