APC signed distribution agreements with DDC-I and Winchester Interconnect at the UK’s biggest defence and security exhibition, adding to an already comprehensive portfolio of solutions designed to excel in some of the harshest environments.
The Defence and Security Equipment International exhibition (DSEI) returned to Excel London for its most significant and largest iteration of the show in its 25-year history. DSEI brought together over 2,800 defence and security suppliers, including major prime manufacturers, making the event the premier of its kind for bringing together governments, armed forces and the wider security industry.
Achieving an Integrated Force
The focus of this year’s DSEI was to address the theme of ‘Preparing the Future Force’, highlighting and integrating across the five operational domains of Air, Cybersecurity, Land, Sea and Space. To achieve an integrated force, the UK MOD will require smaller, faster and more capable equipment that spans an ever-increasingly sophisticated network of systems.
With a successful heritage in supporting UK-based OEMs and CEMs, APC already supports its customers to build more capable, future-ready technologies, drawing on its specialist divisions to provide High-Reliability Electronic Components, RF and Microwave technologies and sub-systems Rugged and Embedded Computing solutions and comprehensive electronic Test and EMC Solutions.
Trusted Advisors for Critical Mission Products
At DSEI, representatives from APC could be found in the US Pavilion, home to the booth of its parent company, Certify Holdings. Alongside SMT Corp (Also part of Certify holdings), APC showcased its range of electronic products and services and featured a scale model of a Shielded Compartmented Information Facility (SCIF). APC’s turnkey SCIF design and installation service enables its customers to create secure areas for handling highly classified information by military, intelligence and government agencies.
It was at the booth that Certify Holdings CEO, Richard Hodgson, signed distribution agreements with several new technology partners, adding to APC’s portfolio of solutions.
